Welcome to Northwood Intermediate School! As a result of the new Sidney Middle School, Northwood will now service fourth and fifth graders. We have made several changes to the building to accommodate the students and make Northwood an even more excellent educational facility!
Examples of these include:

All fourth grade teachers and many special teachers moved from the six elementary buildings to Northwood

Expanded the cafeteria and created an additional food line

Created an Art room

Added four additional classrooms for the fifth grade

Each classroom is now fully wired to make effective use of technology

Installed a new playground

Replaced all carpeting and a new cafeteria floor

Northwood, we
are proud of our rich tradition of academics and our belief that all students
can learn. Our school is an inclusive family that includes students with

We have a veteran staff with the majority of our teachers possessing master degrees or higher. Our total staff including part & full time certificated and non-certificated totals 67 dedicated professionals.
