Advanced Placement Program
Advanced Placement Courses
A variety of Advanced Placement courses are offered each year in our core academic classes. Students who wish to participate in these courses can enroll in one of the following ways:
· Participate in the gifted/talented program in the subject area; · Teacher advocacy based on student grades and ability, student self-discipline and direction; or · Parent recommendation based on student grades and ability, student self-discipline and direction
A student must complete an Advanced Placement Application form, which includes grade reports, teacher advocacy signatures, parent signature, and student signature to be accepted into AP class.
