Important Dates
ACT Test Dates for the 2010 - 2011 School Year
We would like to give you all a
heads up on upcoming important dates from the Guidance
Office to assist in your future planning.
Saturday, September from 7:30 - 1:00 ACT
Tuesday, September from 12:00 - 2:30 - Edison College Fair - We will only be taking seniors who sign up!
Wednesday, September from 8:00 - 10:15 - Making High School Count Assemblies for all freshman. From 8:00 - 9:00 will be last names A - K and from 9:15 - 10:15 last names L - Z in the auditorium
Thursday, September - period 2 in the auditorium - Juniors will fill out personal information on the ASVAB test answer document
Tuesday, September - ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Career Testing for all Juniors - Cafeteria and Library from 7:45 - 10:45
Wednesday, October periods 1 - 4 PSAT in cafeteria. Juniors take for Merit Scholarships. Freshman and Sophomores may take for practice.
Saturday, October from 7:30 - 1:00 ACT
Monday, October - Friday, October 30 OGT's for Juniors and Seniors who did not pass
Monday, November - Wednesday, November 4 - OGT Make-up testing
Wednesday, November during periods 1 - 4 PLAN test in the cafeteria for sophomores
Tuesday, December from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Financial Aid Night for Junior and Seniors and their parents in the cafeteria
Wednesday, December from 12:00 - 2:30 - Explore Careers Day at the JVS for all Sophomores at the JVS. (I will let the English 10 teachers know when we are doing the presentations for this event!)
Saturday, December from 7:30 - 1:00 ACT
Tuesday, February Making Your College Search Count Assembly for JUNIORS from 8:00 - 9:00 and Making College Count for SENIORS from 9:15 - 10:15 in the auditorium
Saturday, February from 7:30 - 1:00 ACT
Saturday, April from 7:30 - 1:00 ACT
